Commercial Diving
Overview & Capabilities
We deliver comprehensive commercial diving, subsea engineering, and marine support services for nearshore, coastal & inland assets. As a fully registered HSE Diving Contractor and Full Member of the Association of Diving Contractors (ADC), we operate to the highest UK safety standards using certified personnel, surface-supplied air systems, and real-time surface-monitored video. From planned civil engineering projects to emergency response, our teams provide turnkey underwater solutions designed to minimize facility downtime and maximize asset lifespan.
Core Capabilities
Inspection, Survey & NDT We conduct Close Visual (CVI) and General Visual (GVI) inspections supported by live HD surface monitoring and time-stamped video recording. Our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) capabilities include Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) gauging, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Cathodic Protection (CP) surveys. We regularly perform pier scour assessments, caisson inspections, intake and outfall pipe inspections, dock wall integrity checks, and UWILD (Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Dry-docking) class surveys for commercial vessels.
Subsea Construction & Civil Engineering Our dive teams handle underwater concrete formwork, tremie pours, grout bag placement, and structural underpinning. We provide full support for scour protection, subsea drilling, cofferdam installation, and pile positioning. For heavy modification or removal, we utilize oxy-arc cutting, specialized wet welding, Pnuematic breaking, and mechanical demolition techniques.
Maintenance, Servicing & Utilities We maintain critical marine infrastructure through high-pressure hydro-jetting, airlift/dredging and pipe plugging or blanking. Our dive teams service subsea valves, replace seals and structural bolts, and retrofit sacrificial anode systems. We also provide vessel maintenance, including emergency propeller entanglement clearing and underwater coating applications.
Emergency Response & Salvage Operating a 24/7 emergency call-out team, we deploy rapidly for structural failures, critical pipe blockages, vessel entanglements, and marine salvage operations, offering full rigging and heavy-lift support for asset recovery.
Quayside & Civil Marine Repairs
We provide specialized marine civil engineering and structural repair services for ports, harbours, jetties, and industrial berths. Our experienced civils teams deliver comprehensive structural restoration, fender replacements, and concrete rehabilitation along the splash zone, intertidal areas, and deck levels to extend asset lifespan, preserve load capacity, and keep berths operational.
Core Capabilities
Concrete Cap & Cope Beam Restoration We repair spalling, cracked, and degraded quay wall concrete caps, cope beams, and deck edges damaged by marine salt exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, or heavy vessel impacts.
Steel Pile & Sheet Pile Repair We reinforce and restore corroded or structurally compromised steel H-piles, and sheet pile retaining walls across tidal and splash zones.
Timber Fendering Systems (Greenheart & Ekki) We supply, craft, and fit heavy-duty timber fendering systems designed to absorb vessel kinetic energy and protect primary quay structures. We specialize in working with dense, high-durability marine hardwoods including Greenheart and Ekki (Lophira alata).
Rubber Fender Systems (300mm Section D-Fenders) We install, realign, and service commercial rubber fendering configurations, including continuous 300mm section D-fenders across extensive berth lengths (300m+ sections), as well as arch, cone, and cylindrical profiles.
Structural & Marine Steel Fabrication
We deliver high-precision structural steel fabrication and welding services for harsh marine, civil, and industrial environments. Operating from fully equipped workshops with mobile site deployment, our team builds robust steelwork engineered to resist severe coastal corrosion and heavy dynamic loads.
Core Capabilities
Marine & Primary Structural Steelwork
We manufacture heavy-duty steel infrastructure including tubular piles, waling beams, pile caps, mooring bollard plates, walkway gantries, and access ladders tailored for port facilities and coastal developments.
Custom Platework & Fender Systems
Our team builds bespoke steel backing plates, mounting brackets, transition pieces, wear plates, spud poles, and tie-back assemblies designed to integrate directly with concrete, timber, or sheet-pile quay structures.
Coded Welding & Site Installation
Supported by mobile site teams, our certified welders provide field modifications, structural erection, and rapid repairs using MIG/MAG and MMA welding techniques backed by crane and barge logistics.
Marine Surface Preparation & Coatings
All steelwork undergoes rigorous surface protection to handle extreme salinity, including Sa 2.5 grit blasting, hot-dip galvanizing, and multi-coat C5-M marine epoxy paint systems built for long-term splash zone protection.
